My obssesion with selvedge denim is still very much a thing. so it made sense to move on from jeans and work it into some sort of top. Normally the centre front of a shirt is folded into itself to have a clean finish but seeing as selvedge already has a clean finish, it was just a simple process of changing the way it was folded to not hide the edge, but make it stand out.

It’s called an overshirt because the weight’s more considerable than the regular Meganeh shirt, and l think it looks best styled open, with a nice tee underneath. The snaps are more heavy-duty, consistent with what you would see on a jacket, etc.

I’ve had a few people comment on the nice “piping” on my shirt: still a compliment if you ask me…
