I bought a roll of navy, bamboo cotton fleece and thought I'd make the Collection II hoodies out of it. I ended up choosing a heavier, herringbone terry so the fleece sat under the cutting table for months. Once I got into a "Spring Cleaning" frame of mind, I pulled up all of my fabric and came across the roll again.
I didn't want to buy more fabric, so the focus was to make something that was the same material throughout. My mind wandered back to what inspired an element of the Rover Coat from Collection II. Making a fleece housecoat seemed straightforward, but how to do it in a way that stood out a bit?
